Our History

Impress Community centre was established on October 25 2018. The company is situated in the heart of Woolwich Arsenal. All training and courses are free.

We are a centre that helps ethnic minority women, age 50 and above, that are unemployed and lonely. We encourage them to participate in Well-being exercises/health discussions, as well as also training them in basic computer skills.

We offer several other courses including;

Good communication skills
Introduction course in child care
Health & social care
Customer care
Business administration in regards in preparation for employment and getting back into employment.

We also assist in helping beginners set up a business.

Our Aims

To develop the well-being of the delegate.

To improve the delegates IT skills.

To promote networking and combat loneliness.

To improve their confidence and self-esteem.

To get them back into employment.

Our Objectives

Creating awareness that can cause health problems.

Providing enterprise workshop development.

Organising health and well-being workshops.

Providing basic computer training and short course training.

Promoting women age 50 plus ethnic minorities in the society.

Refers to connection to relevant organisation and opportunities.

Providing Employment and skills training.
